Reuben Scholarship Programme for Undergraduates at University College London in UK

Reuben Foundation LogoUniversity College London, UK is inviting applications for Reuben scholarships for undergraduates. Five scholarships are awarded for UK student entering the first year of university’s programme in 2013/14. The successful recipient(s) will be awarded £10,000 per year for three years of their degree programme at UCL (subject to satisfactory academic progress) to cover maintenance costs (accommodation and living costs). The application deadline is 29 July 2013.

Eligibility: To be considered for a scholarship you must:

-be a Home (UK) student entering the first year of their programme in 2013/14;

-hold an offer of admission to study at UCL on any full-time undergraduate degree programme.

Scholarship Description: The Reuben Scholarship was set up in 2012, funded by a donation from the Reuben Foundation. Formed in 2002, the Reuben Foundation was created to channel the charitable giving of the Reuben Brothers. The brothers continue to proactively look at supporting a range of charitable causes, from long-term funding projects to individual charitable donations.


Number of award(s): Five scholarships are offered.


Duration of award(s): Scholarships are offered for three years of their degree programme at UCL (subject to satisfactory academic progress).


What does it cover? The successful recipient(s) will be awarded £10,000 per year for three years of their degree programme at UCL (subject to satisfactory academic progress). The scholarship is awarded to cover maintenance costs (accommodation and living costs).


Selection criteria: The criterion for awarding the bursary is financial need and you will need to demonstrate this.
