Postgraduate Merit Scholarship at Coventry University in UK, 2013

Coventry UniversityCoventry University is offering postgraduate scholarship. Scholarship is available to all UK students applying for a full-time postgraduate programme at Coventry University, excluding distance learning, blended learning or part-time programmes. Scholarship consisting of £1,000 in the first year only towards tuition fees will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. The application deadline is 16 August 2013.

Eligibility: -Available to all UK students applying for a full-time postgraduate programme at Coventry University, excluding distance learning, blended learning or part-time programmes.

-Scholarships are allocated on the basis of academic merit: applicants must obtain a first class Honours degree or equivalent. The UK NARIC qualifications guide will be used to assess the level of foreign qualifications.


Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of UK can apply for this scholarship.


Scholarship Description:  A Postgraduate Merit Scholarship (consisting of £1,000 in the first year only towards tuition fees) can help you fund your course.Students cannot have more than one scholarship in conjunction with another at any given time. If you have the scholarship, you cannot also then have an alumni discount if you are an alumni of Coventry University.

Duration of award(s): Scholarship is offered for first year only.

Selection Criteria: Scholarship funding is granted by the University at its entire discretion taking into consideration the student’s merits and application on a case by case basis.


Notification: Successful students will be notified by 23 August 2013.


How to Apply: Applicants must submit a supporting statement by providing a personal profile stating the reasons why they deserve the award; this should include why they wish to do the course and how this will have an impact on their future prospects and career. The profile must be written by the applicant (please include your student ID). Please email this to fundingsupport-at-coventry.ac.uk.


Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadline is 16 August 2013.
