The University of Waikato offers scholarship for pursuing undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate degree in New Zealand. The Scholarship will be open annually to applications from adult students (25 years and over) studying at the University of Waikato’s Tauranga campus in 2014 and residing in the areas administered by Tauranga City Council or Western Bay of Plenty District Council. Scholarship Description: The Acorn Foundation is a charitable trust which was formed in 2003, created by and for the people of Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty community.The principal goal of the Foundation is to encourage people to consider making a gift in their will to benefit the local community forever. Funds received are invested in perpetuity, and the investment income is used to support community groups and provide scholarships.
