Master’s Scholarships at School of Applied Social Studies, Robert Gordon University in UK

Robert Gordon UniversityThe School of Applied Social Studies is offering a number of merit scholarships for students who are wishing to study full-time at the School from September 2013. Students will either be an international or UK / EU applicant for full-time mode of delivery and students will have accepted a place on one of the MSc courses. Application should be submitted till 16th August 2013.

-First, students will have accepted a place on one of the above MSc courses.

-Third, students or their family will be responsible for paying the full-cost of the course.


Scholarship Open for International Students: International or UK / EU students can apply for this scholarship.

 What does it cover? - MSc Social Work: Depending on demand the awards will be between £1,000 and £2,000 per successful applicant. Course commences September 2013.

-MSc Corporate Social Responsibility and Energy: Depending on demand the awards will be between £1,000 and £2,000 per successful applicant. Course commences September 2013.


Selection criteria: Applications will be assessed against the following criteria:

-Previous academic record

-Employment or professional experience

-Any relevant prizes or awards

-Personal achievements which indicate your ability to contribute to the wider life of the University community and/or the professional community that you will be joining on graduation

-In the event that two applications are scored identically and only one award is available, the panel will award the scholarship to the first application received, using the date of receipt in the University as the relevant date


 Notification:  -Decisions will be announced in late August 2013

-Successful applicants will be informed in the first instance by email

-Applicants will be required to respond by email to accept the offer.


How to Apply: Completed Merit Scholarship Application Form  should be sent via post or email.


Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadline is 16th August 2013.
