Scholarship Description: The Swarovski Scholarships aim to promote excellence in design by financially supporting two BA students from Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design who are deemed to have the ability and potential to make an exceptional contribution to the fashion and jewellery industries.
Number of award(s): The Scholarships will be offered to one final year student on the BA (Hons) Fashion course and one final year student on the BA (Hons) Jewellery Design course

What does it cover? The scholarships are valued at £9,000 each. For Home/EU students will cover all tuition fees, plus a contribution towards maintenance. For International students the award will be a contribution towards tuition fees.
Selection Criteria: Applications will be assessed by a scholarship panel according to the following criteria:
- Financial need as assessed by Student Funding
- High level of achievement and future potential as manifested in portfolio
-Strong evidence of original thinking
- Strong articulation of how the Swarovski Scholarship will contribute to the applicant’s long-term career aims
Notification: Students shortlisted for interviews will be contacted by the University shortly after the application deadline. Only successful candidates will be contacted.All applicants will be informed of the final decisions in writing by end of November 2013.
