The African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) is funding Staff Exchange Fellowships for academic staff from departments of Agricultural Economics from the CMAAE network universities. AERC is seeking to build a pool of qualified Economists and Policy analysts, through support to a faculty exchange programme. Applicants will visit non-accredited departments in the same network or vice versa for a period of between 6 months and one year. Applicant must be a staff of any of the participating universities and have received invitation as a visiting professor from the host university. The deadline for applying for the fellowship for 2013/2014 is June 30, 2013.

Scholarship Description: The African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) was established in 1988 as a public not organization devoted to the advancement of economic policy research and training in Consortium’s mandate and strategic intent is built on the basis that sustained develop development in sub Saharan Africa requires well-trained, locally based professional economists. AERC agitates the provision of capacity building in economic policy in Francophone and Anglophone African countries through provision of support in the areas of policy research and training.
