The successful candidate will join a team of researchers in the National Mass Spectrometry Facility and the Institute of Mass Spectrometry in the College of Medicine, to develop next-generation ionisation techniques for application to suitable chemical samples submitted to the National Mass Spectrometry Facility.

What does it cover?
UK students:
UK students are eligible for a full award, which covers the full cost of tuition fees, plus a stipend of £13,726 p.a.
EU students:
EU students who have been ‘ordinarily resident’ in the UK for 3 years prior to the start of the grant are eligible for a full award (stipend and fees). This means they must have been normally residing in the UK (apart from temporary or occasional absences).
EU students who are ordinarily resident in a member state of the EU are generally eligible for a fees-only award.
