Eligibility: 1) This position is only open for applications for the Ph.D position (candidacy).

2) Familiarity and knowledge with molecular simulation program such as Materials Studio.

3) Or some familiarity and knowledge with at least one of the first principles simulation software such as Vienna Ab-initio Simulation Package (VASP), Wien2k or other similar first principle calculation software.

4) Some basic knowledge in at least one of the ab-initio quantum mechanical methods such as density functional theory, tight binding, k.p perturbation theory etc.

5) Candidates applying for the Ph.D. position must have at least 1 first author publications in SCI-index journals. Applicants who do not meet this prerequisite criterion will not be considered.
