University of Auckland Faculty of Arts Master’s Scholarships in New Zealand

University of Auckland Business SchoolThese Master’s Scholarships are funded by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Auckland in the field of Arts, Literature, Public Policy, Creative Writing, Theology. The main purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and support students undertaking a research thesis or portfolio for an approved master’s degree in the Faculty of Arts. Up to ten scholarships will be awarded annually. Each scholarship is awarded for a period of up to one year of equivalent full time study, and will be of the value of up to $5,000.

Course Level: These scholarships are available for pursuing Master’s degree at the University of Auckland.

Eligibility: -The scholarships are for the New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of new Zealand.

-Scholarships will be warded to the candidates who have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full or part-time enrolment in a thesis, research portfolio or project of at least 90 points for the degree of Master of Arts, Master of Literature, Master of Public Policy, Master of Creative Writing or Master of Theology.


Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of New Zealand can apply for this scholarship.


Scholarship Description: These Master’s Scholarships are  funded by the Faculty of Arts in the field of Arts, Literature, Public Policy, Creative Writing, Theology. The main purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and support students undertaking a research thesis or portfolio for an approved masters degree in the Faculty of Arts. The scholarships will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council upon the recommendation of a Selection Committee comprising the Associate Dean (Academic) (or nominee), the Associate Dean (Postgraduate) (or nominee), and one other member of academic staff of the Faculty of Arts, nominated by the Dean. Up to ten scholarships will be awarded annually, each for a period of up to one year of equivalent full time study, and will be of the value of up to $5,000.


Number of awards (s): 10 Scholarships are offered.


Duration of award (s): Scholarships are offered for 1 year.


What does it cover? Total offer is of $5,000 .


Selection Criteria: - Selection Committee assesses the applications on the basis of academic merit.

-The scholarships are awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Selection Committee.


Notification: Applicants will come to know about the decision six weeks after the closing date by letter.
