South African Scholarship in Children’s Literature at Macquarie University in Australia

Macquarie University and South African High Commissioner is funding scholarship to undertake a research project with Macquarie University in the area of Children’s Literature of one or more Commonwealth countries. The scholarship covers international student tuition fees for up to 4 years depending on the duration of the combined program. The project also support one conference (including travel) and a two-three month paid internship. What does it cover? The scholarship covers international student tuition fees for up to 4 years, depending on the duration of the combined program. The scholarship also includes a stipend as follows: MRES Year 2: $16,000 per annum PhD: A stipend is offered for three years at the standard APA rate, which is indexed annually ($24,653 per annum in 2013). This project also has the support of the Commonwealth Education Trust who will offer extra funding for one conference (including travel) and a two-three month paid internship either during the tenure of the scholarship or at its completion.
