FAEA Scholarships for Undergraduate Students in India

BHELFoundation of Academic Excellence and Access is offering scholarships for undergraduate students in India. These scholarships are sponsored by BHEL and Others. Scholarships are provided in the field of arts/commerce/science/medical/engineering and other technical and professional discipline at any university/institution/college of students’ choice anywhere in India. Students are eligible for these scholarships who have passed Class XII from a recognized board in India and 1st year under-graduate students. FAEA scholarships provide financial aid for completion of undergraduate courses which includes tuition fee, maintenance allowance or hostel/mess charges and other allowances to cover travel, clothing and book purchase. The continuance of scholarship and amount of scholarship is, however, subject to good academic performance and availability of funds.

What does it cover? FAEA may cover the full cost of proposed study plans up to five years.


Selection criteria: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews across India in the metropolitan city closest to student’s domicile.


Notification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview in the Month of July/August 2013. Exact dates, however, will be communicated individually and will also be available on the FAEA website.

Sir John Monash Scholarships for Postgraduate Students

The General Sir John Monash FoundationThe General Sir John Monash Foundation offers eight scholarships for postgraduate students at non-Australian University. Only Australian citizens graduating from Australian universities are eligible to apply. The Scholarships provide funding of AUD $50,000 per year for a maximum of three years. Applications for the 2014 Scholarships will close on 31 August 2013

The John Monash Scholarships are available for postgraduates to attend universities that are considered to be amongst the global leaders in the field of study. Applicants should identify in their applications up to three universities to which they have sought or would seek acceptance.

What does it cover? The Scholarships provide funding of AUD $50,000 per year for a maximum of three years. Selection criteria: State and Territory based Panels will shortlist applicants and recommend nominations for consideration by the National Awards Committee.

-The National Awards Committee, chaired by a Director of the Foundation is responsible for examining applications and making recommendations to the Board of the Foundation, who will make the final selection of winners.

-Winners of the John Monash Scholarships are informed by the CEO of the Foundation, and publically presented by the Governor-General of Australia in March 2014.

-The decision of the Board of the General Sir John Monash Foundation is final.

Keele UniversityKeele University is announcing International Student Scholarship for postgraduate students, UK. The students from all non-EU countries can apply for this scholarship. Scholarship is worth GBP3000 towards the cost of the Master’s tuition fees. OAS / FLACSO Scholarships for Master’s Students in Argentina

 Organization of American StatesThe Organization of American States (OAS) in partnership with Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) offers four scholarships for master’s students. These scholarships are open to the students from OAS member state for pursuing master’s program in Human Development at FLACSO. ECU International WACE Scholarship for Undergraduate Students in Australia

Edith Cowan UniversityEdith Cowan University offers scholarship for undergraduate students for all international students who hold a Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) and enroll in an ECU undergraduate course in 2013 or 2014. The scholarship provides a ten per cent reduction on course fees until course completion or the end of semester 2, 2017. The application deadline is 1st August 2013.
